Merino/Silk Top (50/50) for Hand Spinning - 'Summer Hillside'

A 100g gram braid of a luxurious blend of merino wool and natural Tussah silk (50% silk / 50% wool). A lovely soft and well-blended mix, which will spin up to give a well-bodied, yet lustrous yarn.  The fibre was dyed with random mixtures and applications of colour, so the colourway is unrepeatable and unique.  The wool in this blend is has natural grey colour, which will make a pretty heathered effect when spun.
