A crystal-clear resin Low Whorl spindle with real rosepetal and lavender potpourri in the whorl. The spindle has a birch wood shaft, which is 23cm long. Total weight is 38g, making it one of our medium-heavy weight spindles, perfect for spinning medium to thick yarns. The handmade silver plated hook is in a swan-neck style, which balances the yarn properly above the centre of the spindle. Has been test spun to ensure it has good balance.
This spindle is supplied with a robust custom-made shipping container, which also acts as a handy carrying case for later.
The resin used for the whorl contains a UV protectant, however flowers and leaves set in resin will inevitably fade over time. Some think this adds a pretty 'vintage' look to the design. To delay the onset of fading, we recommend that you store your spindle away from direct sunlight.
