SALE! Wensleydale Wool top - 'Deep Sea Diving'

SALE! This fibre is a bit compacted after being on my stall at a wool show.  It's still perfectly useable, and will open out with a bit of teasing, but it's probably best suited to felting rather than hand spinning.

100 grams (3.5oz) Wensleydale combed wool top.  Wensleydale has a long staple (typically 10-15cm in this top), and a relatively coarse fibre diameter (compared with merino). Beautifully lustrous, which gives the colours a rich, almost glowing appearance. Because of the long staple length, it's best for spinners with some experience. Not as fine as BFL or Shetland wools, but still a lovely spin.
