Lightweight Resin Drop Spindle - Shadow Leaf

**PLEASE NOTE - this spindle has a light scratch mark around the outside of the whorl due to a polishing error.  It's only a cosmetic imperfection, the spindle functions perfectly.  However, beause of the scratch, the price is reduced from our usual £25 to £20

A lightweight resin top-whorl spindle with a real skeleton leaf embedded in the whorl. The whorl is in our slimline 'saucer' style design, which is lighter than our standard whorls, making the spindle perfect for spinning fine yarns.  The spindle has a cherry wood shaft.  The whorl is notched to the back of the hook. Total weight is 19g.  The handmade hook is in a swan-neck style, which balances the yarn properly above the centre of the spindle. Long shaft, so you can fit plenty of yarn on this spindle.

This spindle is supplied with a robust custom-made shipping container, which also acts as a handy carrying case for later.

The resin used for the whorl contains a UV protectant, however for longest life without yellowing, we recommend that you store your spindle away from direct sunlight. Whorl diameter is approx 6cm. Shaft length is approx 28cm.
