Featherweight Resin Support Spindle - Red Rose and Iridescent Glitter

This speedy little spindle is ideally suited to spinning fine yarns.  The whorl is cast from resin and includes a real preserved red rose blossom, along with a sprinkling of iridescent glitter.  The 3mm shaft is made from carbon fibre, which is strong yet slightly flexible, and has been hand shaped to form points at either end.  The total weight of the spindle is just 13g.  Whorl diameter is 4cm.  Shaft length is approximately 22cm.

The resin used for the whorl contains a UV protectant, however flowers and leaves set in resin will inevitably fade over time.  Some think this adds a pretty 'vintage' look to the design.  To delay the onset of fading, we recommend that you store your spindle away from direct sunlight.

This spindle is supplied with a robust custom-made shipping container, which also acts as a handy carrying case for later.
