Hand Dyed Luxury Merino/Silk Top for Handspinning or Felting, Gradient Colours - ''Muted Raindow'

100 grams (3.5oz) of a luxurious blend of natural grey Merino wool and Tussah silk (70/30 blend).  A lovely soft and slightly streaked mix, which will spin up to give a slightly textured yarn with flashes of high lustre from the silk.  The natural grey base colour of the fibre brings a beautiful muted quality to the colours that are applied over it, resulting in a subtly shaded colourway.  This particular colourway was dyed with long, non-repeating sections of colour for a 'gradient' effect when spinning it from end to end.
