200g Hand Dyed English Wool Blend Top for Spinning or Felting, - 'Russet', Two Coordinating Braids

Two coordinating braids totalling 200g of blended English wool tops. The fibre has a medium staple length and medium softness. Easy to spin, perfect for beginners; a great value blend.  Also suitable for wet and needle felting, although these medium fibres will take longer to felt than a fine wool such as merino.  The length of fibre is loosely crochet chained to create the braid that you see here.

 Each of the two braids weighs approximately 100g,  They were dyed together as a pair, but each took the colour slightly differently, so rather than separate them I've decided to offer them as a coordinating set.   The fibre was dyed with random mixtures and applications of colour, so the colourway is unrepeatable and unique.  In some of our colourways the dye only partly penetrates the fibre in places, or splashes of colour are applied to give a 'patchwork' effect.  These random colour patterns are intentional and will give a lovely variation of colour to your finished yarn or project.
