Hand Dyed Wool Top for Spinning or Felting: Romney - 'Russetty'

SECONDS - PLEASE NOTE: Somewhere along the dyeing process, this fibre has become a little compacted.  It's not at all felted and with a bit of a shake will loosen up perfectly well for hand spinning, however the price is reduced to reflect the imperfection.  Was £10, now £8.

A 100g braid of hand-dyed Romney wool top.  Romney is a hard-wearing wool, it spins easily and does also felt.  Medium staple length, medium softness.  Ideal for beginners, but the varied colours would make it an interesting spin for more experienced spinners too. The fibre was dyed with random mixtures and applications of colour, so the colourway is unrepeatable and unique.
