Handmade Wooden Buttons - Yew

Handmade wooden buttons, by Dorset wood-artist Gerthe Tesson-Spreij. The buttons are approx 20mm in diameter and 4-5mm thick. The surface of the buttons has been lightly sanded, and finished with beeswax for a simple rustic look. These look lovely on items made with handspun yarn. These buttons were made from offcuts of English yew wood that was milled on our farm
