My favourite view of a sheep has to be this one, I love those little fluffy Ryeland ears. This is 'Molly', who was Chocolate's ewe lamb, born in March this year.
This weekend was a good one for all the Ryelands. With the ewes safely in lamb, I extracted Giles and returned him to live with the boys - he seemed happy to be reunited with them. And I put the ewe lambs and the non-lambing ewes back in with the breeding ewes. There was much excitement all round when this years lambs met their mums again, even the older ewes were skipping about.
But here you can see a quieter moment. Yes, there was food involved.
