I’m Karen, a knitter, spinner, and general textile crafts geek, living in rural Dorset in the UK. I keep a small spinners’ flock of sheep, as well as four horses, two enormous goldfish who live in a 4ft tank in my home office, and a little grey cat.  You’ll read about them all here from time to time.

I also run Wildcraft, an online shop that specializes in beautiful hand-dyed fibres and tools for hand spinners. When I’m not crafting, blogging, or dealing with the latest livestock crisis, I’m a web programmer and social science researcher.
